Prize Fest is going to be taking it to the streets to celebrate their first decade and all the fun starts Friday, Sept. 24! Over two nights, Fri. Sept. 24 and Sat., Sept. 25, ten bands will be playing their musical fingers to the bone to become the next Louisiana Music Prize winner, and recipient of $10,000! YOU can be a part of this!
We are giving away TWO VIP All Access Louisiana Music Prize tickets, and separately, two General Admission Louisiana Music Prize Tickets. These tickets are good for the event on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 24 and 25. You can use them to attend both nights or either night. The VIP tickets will get you preferred Reserved Seating at The Garage, 211 Market Street. You will be able to sip on specialty drinks in the VIP lounge and snack on delicious food in a space exclusive to VIP pass-holders and the musicians themselves. These tickets are a $300 value.
The General Admission tickets get you general admission entry into Music Prize 2021 for both nights of competition, Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25. This is a $60 value.
There are three easy parts in your quest to win. 1. Go to our Shreveport DDA Facebook page and FOLLOW it. 2. ‘Like’ our Shreveport DDA page, and 3. Leave a comment about why you want to go to the music prize, or how you love downtown Shreveport, or why Prize Fest is the coolest thing since sliced bread. At 4:30 pm CST, Thursday, Sept. 23, we will randomly select a winner and alert you.
Remember that to attend ANY Prize Fest events, you and your guest MUST bring proof of COVID vaccination OR have negative test results from a test conducted no earlier than 72 hours before the event. If you do not have one of these items, you will not be able to use these tickets.
